We have dedicated fun-diver boats at UDC, and that means you won’t be on a boat with courses or uncertified divers, but only divers with similar skill levels allowing us to go the best dive sites possible!
We offer two-tank dive trips to the North side of the island each morning (weather permitting) and an additional two-tank dive is available to our South side sites in the afternoon. We also regularly operate night dives, which each count as 2 dives from a cost perspective.
Your divemaster/guide will be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (not just a recently certified DM) to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.
We limit our fun diver groups to a maximum of 6 divers to 1 guide – the smallest on the island!
Our team of guides have over 10,000 dives on Utila’s reefs, and their knowledge of the dive-sites and Utila’s marine world is second-to-none!
We also offer Private Accommodation at the Mango Inn, with a variety of different options from Standard Rooms to Deluxe Cabins! You get special pricing on the rooms for diving with us! You can get a Standard Room with AC for just $30.00 a night!
All guests at the Mango Inn can enjoy the use of a guest computer, free WiFi, and transportation from the ferry.
If you have not been diving for a while we require that you complete a refresher course prior to starting your dives. We require a refresher if the following applies: If you have less than 20 dives and have not dived for 6 months,or if you have less than 50 dives and have not dived in a year, or finally if you have less than 100 dives and have not dived in 2 years. During this refresher you will be working directly with one of our Instructors and going over the basic dive theory, basic safety skills as well as equipment and buoyancy. They will make sure that by the end of your course you feel confident and excited to get back underwater and enjoy our beautiful reefs! The price for the refresher course is $46 and it includes equipment, materials, taxes and fees.
